The Kestrels are an all-star travel team that offers ball players in the West Kootenay the opportunity to play competitive baseball concurrent with the house season and into the summer.

The Kestrels practice at Queen Elizabeth Park and play tournaments in:
- Vernon Tournament, May 24-26
- Invermere Invitational, June 21-23
- 8th annual Slugfest (Cranbrook), June 28-30
- Valley of Champions (Kelowna), July 12-14
- Nelson Midsummer Showdown, July 26-28
- Zone final, Invermere, August 3-4
- Provincials, Newton (Surrey), August 8-12
