Effective Date: January 23, 2025
Purpose: This policy establishes the terms and conditions under which the Nelson Baseball Association (NBA) may refund player registration fees.
Refund requests must be made in writing and submitted to the NBA via email at nelsonminorbaseball@gmail.com. NBA will only consider refund requests for its spring/summer baseball programming under two conditions:
1) Player injury occurring prior to annual player assessments that would preclude the registrant from participating for the duration of the program registered for, accompanied by a doctor's note. NBA will decline any refund request made after annual player assessments.
2) Player relocation/moving outside the NBA catchment area during the program registered for, with proof of relocation remitted prior to annual player assessments. NBA will decline any refund request made after annual player assessments.
As it pertains to fall or winter ball programming, any request for refunds must meet the outlined criteria above and be provided in writing to NBA three (3) weeks prior to the program's start date.
All refund requests must include the participant's name, parent/guardian contact info, player age, division, and the reason for the refund request.
Administrative Fees: An administrative fee of $25 per player will be deducted from all refunds to cover processing costs.
Processing Time: Refunds will be processed at the NBA’s discretion upon receiving the written request and all required documentation.

Policy Changes: The NBA reserves the right to modify this refund policy at any time. Changes will be communicated to participants via email and updated on the website or revised within the next season's registration process.
