Coach Mrazek is in his 33rd year of coaching baseball and is currently in his 14th year as the head coach of the Cranbrook Bandits Baseball Club playing in the Montana American Legion Baseball League. Prior to the taking on the head coaching position, he was the Bandits pitching coach from 2006 to 2011, and the pitching coach with the Trail Jays in the North Idaho American Legion AA Conference from 2003-2005. In his time in the Kootenays, he has helped players move on to college baseball, with four players being drafted.
Coach Mrazek also works with athletes and teams in strength, conditioning, speed, agility and quickness. He has worked with athletes and teams in baseball, hockey, football, volleyball, golf, and downhill skiing. Paul is currently the baseball strength & conditioning coach at Northeastern Junior College in Colorado and the off-ice Trainer for the East Kootenay Avalanche 13U and 15U Hockey Teams in the BCHL. Paul has worked with the highest level hockey players in his region, including two current Womens Team Canada prospects and Bowen Byram.
In addition to coaching the Cranbrook Bandits and strength, conditioning, speed, agility and quickness, Paul runs the Kootenay Spring Training Coaches and Player Camp, is a director with the Montana Baseball Coaches Conference & Players Camp, coaches with Big-League Experience Camps and Tournaments, has been a Baseball BC Summer Camp Head Coach, and a National Coaching Certification Program Instructor. Paul has spoken in recent years at the British Columbia, Colorado, and Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Conferences and has spent the last three summers coaching in Europe working with Austrian, Croatian, and German associations.
His passion for the game and coaching led to him starting the Montana Baseball Coaches Conference in 2016.
